Editing - Mastin Preset VS Kindred Preset

PIN ME FOR LATER!

Today's post is and editing comparison of Mastin and Kindred!   Two film emulation presets that I absolutely love.

In each example, I have Mastin's Fuji 400 Neutral on the left and Kindred Essential on the right.

I think if you are looking for the best film match possible, Mastin is the answer.  BUT if you want a cleaner, brighter, crisper look - Kindred is your winner.  They each have their place and both produce beautiful results!

Let's take a look!

With these two senior picture examples below, you can see that Mastin can go a littler moodier and Kindred still remains clean and bright.   So if you like the moody look - Mastin is an excellent choice!

So, what do you think?

As for me - I will continue to use both presets for sure.  But Kindred will probably be my immediate go-to from now on!  The skin tones are just impeccable and it seems to give a more lively look.  Then whenever I want to go a little moodier, I will use Mastin.  :)

Until next time,
